Join us for a night of fellowship and fun, all the while helping raise money for COMMIT's projects in Nicaragua.

The doors open at 6pm sharp and fashion show starts at 7pm.

Enjoy all you can eat desserts and savory snacks while browsing at our many silent auction items. We have many wonderful items to bid on, so do your Christmas shopping early.

Our fashion show starts at 7pm with fashions from some of our Mitchell stores: Fashion Fusion by Becky, Floral Treasures Fashions as well as more to be announced.

Enjoy beer donated by Jobsite Brewery, spirits donated by Junction 56 and a large choice of wines, tea and water. Your first two alcholic drinks are free with the option to purchase addtional tastings for a toonie. Non-alcoholic drinks are available and free for all designated drivers and those wishing to abstain.

We will be showing a short slide show highlighting some of our recent work in Nicaragua, as well as providing our trip books for your enjoyment.

Silent auction will close at 10pm and payment can be made by cash, etransfer or cheque (made out to The Rotary Club of Stratford Charitable Foundation/COMMIT).

We have a few door prizes available to win also a exciting live auction.

Why We Fundraise

COMMIT needs your help to raise the money needed to run our many projects in Nicaragua.

Through fundraising, money drives, golf tournaments and fashion shows, we continue to try to raise the needed funds.

Some of the projects that we are fundraising for at the moment are:

Stove Project- $200 per stove is needed for another 400 stoves to provide a healthier way to cook
Agriculture Project - $7000 is needed for contracted services and garden expansions
Bee Keeping - $200 is needed per start up hive for Nandarola - they are hoping to add 3 more bee keepers
Sewing Project - Ongoing money is needed to purchase material, for lessons and supplies
Music Program - Money is needed for contracted services, music books and instruments
Hospital Support - Ongoing monetary donations are needed for supplies
Water Project - Ongoing funds needed to complete wells in new villages
Sports Program - Funds are still needed for equipment - balls, gloves and bats
