Sports Camps 2024

October 2024, we finally were able to launch our sports initiative on a small level. Baseballs, bats and balls and soccer balls were distributed t the schools and some fun sports time had by the classes. Thanks to everyone who made this a reality by providing the children with much needed sports equipment. 

Sports for Children

The implementation of sports programs offers children invaluable opportunities to develop teamwork, participation, and leadership skills. Engaging in physical activity also promotes better health and provides equal opportunities for children to take part in structured, enjoyable activities. As such, sports can play a transformative role in fostering personal and community development in underserved regions.

Recognizing the profound impact of sports on children's lives, COMMIT has prioritized bringing sports equipment to children in our adopted Nicaraguan villages. Over the years, we have witnessed the joy and excitement these items bring to the young recipients. The radiant smiles on their faces serve as a heartwarming reminder of the importance of fostering play, growth, and development through sports.
